Listeners Davey Mac and Ken The Fourth Musketeer inspired a double feature this week… what was originally slated to be a Magnificent Bastard entry ended up being more a themed episode… that being appearances of legendary stunt driver Bill Hickman

The first film we discuss is the I Spy reuinion neo-noir of Cosby and Culp in 1972’s HICKEY AND BOGGS

Then we tackle an unofficial kinda somewhat maybe sequel to The French Connection with 1973’s THE SEVEN-UPS

Gentlemen, start your engines.

Music this week:
Death In Vegas – Your Loft
Khia – My Neck My Back (Lick It)

Friday November 2nd, 2012 16:45 Episode 63: Post-70s Blaxploitation

Kind of somewhat maybe a request show again this week, we tackle a couple blaxploitation films made after the heyday of the early-mid 70s…. the glorious 80s!

The first film is ONE DOWN, TWO TO GO, starring a grand foursome of names in the genre and pulling more from the genre than it is an 80s film. Fred Williamson, Jim Brown, Jim Kelly, Richard Roundtree… oh my.

The second film we review is 1988’s ACTION JACKSON… more an 80s action film with blaxploitation sprinkled all throughout.

I had no idea what music to use this week, so some miners picked random shit for me

Music this week:
Rocket From The Crypt – On A Rope
Ariel Pink Haunted Graffiti – Kinski Assassin
Shinehead – Billie Jean (Michael Jackson Cover) Reggae Cover
