Back on schedule this week as we review a couple films from legendary Hong Kong martial arts filmmaker/actor/fight choreographer Lau Kar-leung who passed away on June 25, 2013.

We decided on two better known films, slightly different from one another but both showcasing his incredible talent at putting martial arts on the screen.

First we discuss EIGHT DIAGRAM POLE FIGHTER, perhaps a pinnacle in the genre at its time for kung fu films and the Shaw Bros.

Then we dive into a film from a couple years earlier which branched out a bit from the norm… MY YOUNG AUNTIE from 1981

Mr. Lau will be missed
