Sunday April 28th, 2013 21:00 Episode 88 – Magnificent Bastard Russ Meyer

meyer009AA

We’re inducting another Magnificent Bastard… this time a gentleman by the name of Russ Meyer.

We chose a couple later films to review (his final two, actually!) If you want an overload of jiggly, busty nudity, look no further.

We review UP! from 1976 and BENEATH THE VALLEY OF THE ULTRA-VIXENS from 1979.

This episode is a hard-R… possibly NC-17. Our mothers would be proud

Music this week:
Megadeth – Sweating Bullets
MF Doom – Hey!
Araby – Minks

Saturday October 15th, 2011 01:55 Episode 9: Napier

This week we decided to pay homage to Mr. Charles Napier, who passed away about a week and a half ago on October 5, 2011. Napier was quite a well known character actor (and chin) in the genre community, acting in loads of television and films over the past 40 years. Blues Brothers, Rambo, Russ Meyer flicks…

We chose a couple films at random that Napier starred in to review

The first was a 1992 crime film directed by Umberto Lenzi called Hornsby e Rodriguez, or MEAN TRICKS. I feel like someone played a mean trick on us.

Then we redeem ourselves by covering a Russ Meyer film from 1970 called CHERRY, HARRY, AND RAQUEL, but probably just end up stuttering and talking about tits through the whole review.

As always things completely fall apart by the end and Loaf sings Cher.

Apologies to Maurice for missing your email this week. We gotcha next week though
