This week we cover a couple films about young Southern ladies in not-so-glorious Southern homes in a way being “kept” for something….
The first is a Tennessee Williams story from 1956 called Baby Doll… a near-20 year old who sleeps in a crib and has promised to consumate her almost 1-year old marriage on her 20th birthday with her middle-aged husband
The next film is 2006’s Black Snake Moan about an older African American gentleman who chains a young white lady to his radiator to help cure her of her ills.
Come share in the vitriol and the great Chinstroker and Punter say
