Thursday July 5th, 2012 16:56 Episode 46: Punk Rock Westerns

This week Loaf decides to toss a couple punk rockers in the wild west at Zom and see what sticks.

Good luck!

The first film we review is Dudes from 1987 starring John Cryer. Cree. Does new wave Duckie Cryer have a leg up on missed punk rock by 10 years Grant Cryer?

The second film is our second Alex Cox review on the show… that being 1987’s Straight to Hell Returns. Returns is a 2010 red0 in a sense where a couple scenes are added in and there is some additional gore not found in the original.

Music this week:
David Bowie – All The Young Dudes
The Clash – Straight to Hell
Zander Schloss – Salsa y Ketchup

Friday April 6th, 2012 07:00 Episode 33: Mid-Century Teens

We moved to a simpler time this week and shifted our focus to mid-century America, a time of fast cars and awesome music, and…. high school kids getting into shit?

The first film we cover is Mischief from 1985. Say what you will about this film, but at the very least you can see a gloriously nekkid Kelly Preston!

Next we cover a film that Loaf was embarrassed to say he had never seen… 1973’s American Graffiti. Pre-Star Wars Lucas!

Hope you enjoy this nostalgia fueled episode.

Music this week:
Dion – The Wanderer
The Platters – The Great Pretender
Booker T & the MGs – Green Onions

and lots more that Loaf just felt like playin in the background!
