Friends of the show Gronke asked us this week to review a certain film which lead to the double feature idea of martial arts mashed up with a more western sport.
He wanted a review of 2009’s FIREBALL… a muay thai meets basketball tournament. Think Bloodsport and Rollerball kinda somewhat maybe.
We paired that up with the 2001 Stephen Chow comedy hit SHAOLIN SOCCER to get a little kung fu sprinkled on a silly soccer film.
