Welcome to another week of your favorite sweaty Southern mess, Silva & Gold! This week we are going international… intercontinental even… in bringing you a couple eurocrime/polizia films that take place outside Italy.
Is that a stretch?
Either way, both are co-Italian/something else productions that have small cars, big guns, and clicky footsteps.
First we review Bloody Friday… pooooooosssibly based on a true story about a mismatched group of miscreants robbing a Munich bank with plans to open a supermarket. Whaaa?
Then we bring you A Special Magnum for Tony Saitta… a Canadian/Italian production directed by Stuart Whitman adding melba toast to an otherwise outrageous series of events. Razor-wielding transvestites FTW!
Music this week:
Mastodon – Blood & Thunder
Majesticons – Helicopter Party
Bauhaus – International Bullet Proof Talent
