Friday June 15th, 2012 09:12 Episode 43: Chicks, Dicks, & Burning Rubber

It’s a new episode and sheeeeeiiiit

This week we cover a couple films with chicks and dudes riding around and getting into mischief and all that in fast cars! YEAH!

First we stumble over 1982’s low budget answer to Cannonball Run… David Carradine and the beautiful Stockard Channing in Safari 3000

Then we discuss yet another hole in Loaf’s viewing history… a seminal film for ultra-violence… Warren Beatty and the so-so Faye Dunaway… if you’re into that thin hot blonde sort of thing… in 1967’s Bonnie and Clyde

And the usual ramblings and rants about Wayne Gretsky

Music this week:
Jungle Boys – Sounds of the Safari
Radiohead – Bullet Proof…I Wish I Was
WWF – Girls In Cars

Saturday September 3rd, 2011 09:58 Episode 3: I’m On A Train

Wow, three weeks in and we’re already releasing epic episodes!

Join us for our near three hour monster where we run the gamut from coal mining to New Jack wrestling at a shitty bar in Georgia.

We also somehow manage to cover Martin Scorsese’s Boxcar Bertha from 1972. He calls it his exploitation film.

And just for good measure, we throw in a little bit of Hobo With A Shotgun from 2011. Spoiler alert…. one of us is pretty pissed about having to watch this one!

So if you have a nice commute ahead of you, or need a sleeping aid, we’re with you for hours on end doing what we do at least somewhat decently I suppose. We’d love to hear from you: feedback to silvagoldpodcast@gmail.com or voicemails to 206-339-1600.
