timestalkers

Loaf had to bow out this week for a mustache convention in Tel Aviv, so the always lovely and helpful Jake McLargeHuge filled in once again! Zom chose a couple time traveling flicks to review that may have had them wishing they had a time machine to go back and forget they ever watched them.

First they get into TIMESTALKERS… a made for TV film from 1984, then hop sideways in time to 1984 again with a discussion of THE PHILADELPHIA EXPERIMENT

Music this week:
Rex Allen – Cattle Call

In our own little Halloween tradition, we have painstakingly selected two more action-horror hybrids for your listening pleasures.

It took at least 2 minutes to decide. The things we do for you listeners….

The first film we review is Uwe Boll’s  2010 direct-to-video Nazi vampire romp BLOODRAYNE THE THIRD REICH

Next we cover one typically viewed a bit more favorably, 1998’s BLADE! More Snipes, baby!

Happy Howl-O-weeeeen everyone!

Music this week:
Misfits – Halloween
Siouxsie and the Banshees – Halloween
Dead Kennedys – Halloween

Saturday September 24th, 2011 22:55 Episode 6: Paré

So there’s this guy. Zom loves ‘im. Loaf’s never heard of ‘im.

His name’s Paré.

Michael Paré

And he has rocketed into our collective psyche through a couple films by the name of

Eddie and the Cruisers

and

Streets of Fire.

Two films that we have tossed around for the past month or so that we figured we damn well should do official reviews on.

Zom’s a little sick… Loaf’s a little…um…who knows what Loaf is.

But at some point, smashing feces through a Play Doh fun factory is discussed.

Kisses!
