Friday December 21st, 2012 07:00 Episode 70: XMas Comedy!

It’s that time of the year agaaaaain… the hooolidaaaays!

Since we kind of shoehorned in a Christmas show last year, this year we decided to do it up right and actually cover a couple xmas flicks… and we chose some classic 80s comedies!

The first film we review is 1988’s SCROOGED starring Bill Murray and some other people. This is one that somehow eluded Zom and Loaf until just now!

The second film reviewed is 1984’s TRADING PLACES starring Eddie Murphy and Dan Akroyd. What holiday film is complete now without racist jokes and Jamie Lee Curtis’ perfect tits??

Happy Holidays, miners. We love you all like a wart you just get used to having there. KISSES!

Music this week:
Ted Daigle – New Baby For Christmas
Tom Waits – Christmas Card from a Hooker in Minneapolis
Vampire Weekend – Holiday

On this week’s episode we are exploring a relationships with older folks double feature.

First we discuss a pick from Maurice of Love That Album – 1992’s In The Soup starring Seymour Cassell as an eccentric gambling criminal, and Steve Buscemi as a struggling screenwriter looking for his first big break.

Then we cover a film considered a classic by some, 1971’s Harold and Maude starring Bud Cort and Ruth Gordon.
