In a slight change of pace, this week the guys from Outside the Cinema chose two Japanese cyberpunk films that may just leave you scratching your head.
The first is an 16mm film from 1988 called Tetsuo: The Iron Man. Yes, a giant drill dick does make an appearance.
Then we try our damnedest to bring it all back around with a review of Rubber’s Lover from 1996. The name pretty much says it all, although this is not a porn! Unless screaming counts into that determination.
You can only imagine the tangents we go off on when the regular subject matter of the week is already out there. Zom may be coming to chop both Bill and Chris after this one.
